The Studio Group is a collection of artists from the Athens, Georgia area who have formed to promote and exhibit their work. The Studio Group -- the name comes from the early years, when sales were held in member artists' studios -- was launched in the fall of 1982 with its first annual sale.

Currently, The Studio Group produces an annual sale in November held in Athens. Throughout the remainder of the year, Studio Group members often exhibit their work together in other venues and locations. The Studio Group comprises a rich and diverse group of artists with a high level of skill and craftsmanship. The mediums represented are pottery, metalwork, fiber arts, painting & drawing, wood turning, and fused glass.
